Making Connections: Bridging the Link Between Early Childhood and Kindergarten Readiness

Metro ECSU will act as an ITV host for this statewide, one-of-a-kind event.
Description: This daylong event will focus on the effect of early childhood academic content on later student achievement. Research experts and practitioners also will discuss how districts and schools can improve learning and instruction using evidence-based and promising practices that are challenging and playful for young children.

Target Audience: District and building leadership teams, regional education specialists, learning consultants, early childhood education specialists and practitioners, and teachers.
There is no registration fee for the event. To register, please complete and submit the online registration form no later than September 15, 2014. Space is limited.
Lunch will not be provided, but can be purchased for a $25 fee.
